Loading ...Saints Lose PK for Season, Sign One of Those Grammatica Guys
New Orleans Saints PK Olindo Mare was placed on injured reserve by the team on yesterday, ending his 2007 campaign. They immediately went out and signed career journeyman Martin Grammatica to the roster.
I think this is freakin great! Martin Grammatica has absolutely no elevation on his kicks, leading to many blocked field goals and extra points. I remember watching a game a few years ago when he was with the Bucs down in Tampa, he had 2 extra points blocked in that game, and the Bucs lost to the Panthers 16-15. It was terrible.
Hopefully that ineptness and his aging leg will help play huge dividends in an Arizona victory on Sunday. GO CARDS!!
