Great observation on the draft status facing the cards. I am hoping that they get thier RB in the first round because James isn't getting the open holes considering his age as a RB. A O-Lineman should be next for obvious reasons and the LB and CB positions will follow.

Lienart will never be the QB that Warner is. One in the draft Leinart fell to 20th due to "arm strength issues" and many questioned his "desire to play his best". Warner has never been that way. Leinart is probably lamenting on his college career sucess still and Warner plays like every game is his last so he gives it his all, not just to keep his job, but to win it all and be his best possible.

Warner needs an extension. If he doesn't get it he can get a guarnteed starting position elsewhere where he is more appreciated for his excellent talents, knowledge, and longevity. Favre lasted untill his early 40's so Warner still has at least 3 years left in him. See a contract extension for 2-3 years but probably no longer or shorter than that.

Warner deserves an extension. Lineart needs to learn how to be a professional. He was so hungover he couldn't see a blitzer comin to shatter his collarbone.

Cardinals recipe for 2008 Playoffs: Trade Fitz for Lito Sheppard and another 2nd round pick, resign Bryant Johnson. Then draft an O-lineman, RB, and LB or CB in the 1st and 2nd rounds.
