I Appreciate your feedback on my draft. You too did a good job on your mock and it is eerily similar how close our drafts are. Now things i liked in yours and what I didn't.

I liked- the idea of the Niners taking another ILB to team with Willis in their 3-4, Panthers selecting a defensive end with Peppers contract situation looming as well, and of course all our similar picks.

I didn't like- Raiders pick of McFadden- they have much more pressing needs, Cromartie falling to #30, and so many WR's taken in the first round. I think the receiving class this season is fairly poor.

Ian-

Thanks for the feedback. Obviously I am more familiar with the Cards than the Eagles, so you would know more about what they need in the first round. I do believe that the Cards would consider taking Talib over DRC or Mike Jenkins because of his tremendous athletic talent. A DB with his size and speed is a rare talent, and he kind of reminds me of Shawn Springs. Remember, Talib didn't lie about his use of marijuana like Manningham did, and Whisenhunt will take care of that kid. And I think San Diego has so much talent on their roster, that they can go RB in the first round by taking the most talented player available approach. Again, thanks for the read.

Tripp-

You're right, crazier things have happened. But with the questions surrounding Stewart's toe injury, he could fall that far (but he shouldn't) And I'm not sold on DRC, I think he'll be a great special teamer, maybe this year's Devinn Hester, but not a solid NFL Corner.

Things I didn't like:

I have to say I hate the Eagles pick. I think they would rather take James Hardy if they went WR. I also don't see Houston going offensive line. They drafted Eric Winston and Charles Spencer a few years ago, and they also signed Jordan Black and Ephraim Salaam for veteran presence. The Texans need another DE, CB, or a S. I can't see the Jaguars going WR either. They just signed Jerry Porter an dtraded for Troy Williamson. They also have Reggie Williams and Matt Jones. I don't think Arizona would take Talib after the news of him failing drug tests came out. His stock just plummeted. San Diego does need a RB , but not in round 1. When you have LT you wait until day 2 for a RB. I think you have DRC falling way too far. To me he is a top ten talent.

Things I liked:

Branden Albert to the Chiefs would hurt me, but I think it is a real possibility. Ellis going to the Bengals would be huge for them. Cherilus to the Steelers would be huge for them. Dan Connor is going to be a steal if he falls that far. All he did was break the career tackles record at LB U and win the Chuck Bednarik award. Connor should be a top 15 pick, but will slide for guys who didn't have a career even close to his. Just like Puzlusny did last year.
