I'm extremely happy with our draft and think we had one of the better weekends in the NFL. DRC was a solid first round pick and we followed that with back to back steals in Calais Campbell and Early Doucet. Campbell will likely be a backup 3-4 end, but could swing inside to DT if he gains 10 lbs or so. I think he will be a Pro-Bowl caliber talent after a few years of development. Doucet will contribute right away and instantly upgrades our offense. Now we actually have someone who can catch the ball CONSISTENTLY in the slot (big upgrade over BJ in my opinion). After that it was all depth. I actually like the Iwebema pick unlike a lot of people, simply because we need all the help we can get for our front 7 in case of injuries, and as long as he stays healthy he should have a good career. Hightower is a beast and is not as slow as people think (4.5 speed isn't bad) and he will be a solid addition to our backfield. Harrington is a smart, high-motor guy who we will play at linebacker. The guy can hit HARD and I think he will end up being a draft steal. The tackle we got is not as slow as he looks and actually ran a 4.98 40 in his workouts, despite weighing 340 lbs! He can play tackle or guard and is a mauler so I like the pick. THEN, to make things even better, we picked up Thaddeus Coleman who is a 6'8" tackle and Ali Highsmith as free agents. If you don't know Coleman, look him up on Draftguys TV and see for yourself how nasty and strong this guy is. Overall, I'm stoked on our draft and I think we just layed a solid foundation of depth that should get us through injuries and fatigue thoughout the season. I smell playoffs!!
