Getting a Little Work In

The Cardinals held an off-season workout today at their facility in Tempe.  It was nice to see the team get some more work in and see participation from some veterans and rookies.  The rookies, such as Dominique Cromartie-Rodgers, are learning how much faster the game is at the NFL level and it isn’t even training camp yet. 

What is also nice to see, is the team working out in the almost 100 degree heat.  It gives the team a nice sweat and earn every cent they are getting paid.  If you get the chance, head on over to azcentral.com and read the story on the new Cardinals punter, Dirk Johnson.  A very interesting story to say the least.  It appears the job may be his to lose.  As we get closer to training camp, I’ll take a closer look at each position, including the punter, to see how this year’s team will shape up.  Only two more months until training camp!  Go Cards!
