I thought you’d all be interested on Pat Kirwan’s take on the 2008 Cardinals, as posted on nfl.com.
I like his prediction of 9-7 if they do all the right things, including going 4-2 within the division, which is a must if they want to even smell the playoffs.
Also, huggingharoldreynolds.com has been posting a series of training camp postcards.

it’ll be tough, they won’t win the division at 9-7 and do you think a wildcard ???? 2 from the north???? 2 from the south, 3 from the east???? where does that put zona????? how do they fit in the playoff picture at 9-7
could win the west at 9-7. The West is that weak. 9-7 was good enough for the wildcard last year. The Giants were 9-7 and won the whole thing last season.
i beleive the giants were 10-6
yeah i agree 9-7 can go, but the 3 east teams look stronger. and 2 in the north. the south???? who knows, tampa? norlins? panters? falcons?-no! but the other 3? i think zona has a dog fight to get to 9-7. they gotta do something about the b situation. i like warner, but it’s obvious it’s lienert’s taem and he’s their future. now he’s got to realize it too
