The Cardinals made their cuts. Most of the cuts went the way I expected with a few exceptions. Here is a complete list of the players cut:
Steve Baylark, Chris Vincent, Kelly Butler, Carlton Medder, Peter Clifford, Jasper Harvey, Jamaica Rector, Alex Shor, Brent Miller, Anthony Morelli, Michael Adams, DeMario Minter, Dennis Keyes, Travarous Bain, Jason Banks, Keilen Dykes, Chris Harrington, Brandon Moore, Matt Stewart, Joe Tafoya, Lance Long, and Pat Ross.
Ross is a little bit of surprise, given the lack of depth at the center position until injured starter Al Johnson returns. Azcardinals.com though is reporting Reggie Wells would likely backup Lyle Sendlein in the opener.
Lance Long, Anthony Morelli, Keilen Dykes, Brandon Moore, and Chris Harrington may be destined to be on the practice squad.
Also, coming as no surprise to me, Kurt Warner has now officially been announced as the starting QB for the Cardinals next week in San Francisco. Go Cards! Bring on the regular season!
