Playing In The Rain

Posted by: azscott

Thursday practice found the Cardinals practicing in the rain.  Friday’s forecast calls for even more rain than what fell in the Washington D.C. area on Thursday.

Coach Whisenhunt said it is good to get a couple of practices in the rain under their belts since the forecast in New York on Sunday is for showers at the Meadowlands.

Personally, I see the value of the idea, however given the recent rash of injuries, I’m not so sure that is the best decision.  It was only light rain that fell on Thursday, but Friday’s showers are expected to be heavier.  There is also most likely no other choice, being that they are on the road this week.

Good luck in staying injury free.

Go Cards!

    Hey Scott,

    What do you think… Calvin Pace’s over/under for sacks on Sunday… Over/Under 1.5? My guess is 5 :)

I’ll take the under.  Pace is ridiculous.  At least he “saw the light of day” in New York.  Well thank God for that!
