Gameday: Around the NFC West

One team with a bye, one at home, two on the road, that’s how the NFC West shapes up on the schedule for week 4 of the NFL season.

A quick look at news around the division this morning:

Seattle Seahawks are off today with their bye week.  However the news is they are going to try to run the ball more when they get back to action next week against the Giants.  By the way, anyone else think they are underdogs to the bye?

St. Louis Rams are a mess.  Scott Linehan has lost his team and win or lose today against Buffalo, reports are he will be fired and replaced by Jim Haslett.

San Francisco 49ers are without CB Shawntae Spencer, who is out for the season after tearing his ACL.  They go to New Orleans this week who will be without a couple of their receivers, WR Marques Colston, and TE Jeremy Shockey.
