Breaking News?

ESPN had a breaking news crawl about 30 minutes ago that Anquan Boldin was active and going to play.  I realize the inactives list doesn’t get released until just before game time, but really breaking news??

I think we all knew he was going to play.  He said he was going to play and coach Ken Whisenhunt said he would play.  So, how is this breaking news again??  I guess if someone stubbs their toe, on ESPN it’s breaking news.

Then there is Jay Glazer over at FOX.  Does one ever wonder how he gets all his news so quickly?  Anyone think he made up the Favre story last week?  Well, it’s entertaining to say the least.
