Happy New Year! Buy Tickets if You Can

Happy New Year Cardinals Fans!

As of Wednesday afternoon there were 5,600 tickets still available to the Cards-Falcons game.  UNless they sell out by 2:30 pm on Thursday, the game will be blacked out locally, which would be a shame.

Let me be one to disagree with the NFL’s blackout policy.  I have always disagreed with it.  The NBA, MLB, and NHL, all allow local games to be televised when less than a sellout occurs.  I understand there are fewer games in the NFL, however the ticket prices are quite expensive for the average fan, such as myself.  I can’t afford tickets to the game.  The NFL does grant 24 hour extensions, like they did on Wednesday, but not only do the Cards fans have work to do, but Minnesota fans have double the work to do, still needing to sell 11,000 tickets.

So, if you can afford it, please buy a ticket.  If not and you are like me, please pray that those with the available funds help get this game on TV.

Go Cards!
