Warner Nominated for FedEx Air Player of the Year

The NFL announced Kurt Warner was nominated as a candidate for the 2008 FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Year Award. Warner was nominated five times during the season, winning twice. As a player of the year candidate, fans can vote for Warner until Friday, January 23 at NFL.com/FedEx until noon EST. The winners will be announced at this year’s Super Bowl.
Since this is entirely driven by fan voting, they have a chance to give the Safe Kids Coalition in Arizona $25,000 in Warner’s name by collecting the most votes for him.
Other finalists include New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning.
