[...] • “I’ve chronicled my thoughts this week about how the Cardinals continue to not gain any respect throughout the country. I won’t say much more on that subject. However, the only way the Cardinals are going to be able to erase doubters is to go and win. Playing them close will quiet some, but it won’t be enough. Now the Cardinals may come out and play their best and that won’t be enough either to win this game. Time will tell.” [Raising Zona] [...]

Congratulations Arizona Cardinals on making your first trip to the NFC Championship. Honestly, I did not expect such a great performance by your team, considering the tail-end of your performance in the regular NFL season and the absence of Anquan Boldin.

Numerous sports broadcasters for Fox Sports noted how Arizona shut down the run-game of the Carolina Panthers. However, this reporting is flawed. When the Carolina Panthers were initially behind in score during the first-half, they changed their game-plan to a passing attack, which obviously failed. As a result of the numerous interceptions by Delhomme, the Cardinals widened their gap in points. This effectively destroyed all hopes of the Panthers relying on the run-game during the second-half. Keep this fact in mind when you play the winner of tomorrow's match-up.
