That’s the Price We Pay

The Cardinals announced that they are raising prices on all lower seat levels for the 2009 season.  However, if you are an upper deck fan, you will still feel like you are living in 2008.  Prices are staying put for the $25-$50 seats.  That suits me just fine – that’s where I sat for two of the three games I got to this past season.  There is no bad seat in the house.

Given the tight economy, this was a good move by the organization.  You figured they had to raise some seats after the Super Bowl run.  With their poularity soaring, they can take advantage of those really wanting the best seats to see a rising team.

The home schedule in 2009 of course includes divisional opponents San Francisco, Seattle, and St. Louis.  However it also includes Minnesota, Green Bay, Houston, Carolina, and Indianapolis.  I would expect to see a home game or two on Sunday and/or Monday night.

Go Cards!
