Although it has been rumored that Anquan Boldin fired Drew Rosenhaus as his agent, he still has yet to set foot on the practice, oh, sorry, “activity” field with his teammates.
That is not too surprising. First of all, Boldin doesn’t have a new agent yet. He has to wait at least five days from the day he releases Rosenhaus from his services. Secondly, the firing never meant a Quan sighting was imminent. I’ll keep watch and hope something is done soon. Don’t expect him on the field for OTA’s though. Won’t happen.

The Wait Continues
Ahhhh….don’t let the door kick you where the sun don’t shine on your way out the door. That’s right Mr. Drew Rosenhaus – You’re fired buddy!!
Anquan Boldin fired Rosenhaus today, hopefully a move that will help something get done with a new contract or still possibly a trade. It’s about time. Now although Rosenhaus still represents other players on the Cardinals club, the most notably was Boldin. Rosenhaus is widely believe to be the reason nothing has been done yet. If nothing gets done with a new agent sometime soon, it could demonstrate that Boldin was the issue and not [...]
“Voluntary” OTA’s Continue
I love how these “practices” (shhhh don’t tell anyone, but please these ARE practices) are called OTA’s (organized team activities). It is laughable, however part of the collective barganing agreement.
Let’s just call it what it is. It’s a voluntary extended mini camp for players to start putting together a playbook for the upcoming season.
Although this is “voluntary”, most players show up because these days anything missed is a step further behind. Of course missing from the Arizona Cardinals OTA’s for the second straight year are Anquan Boldin and Darnell Dockett. Let’s go guys, get over yourselves!
Iwebema Has Tumor Removed
Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Kenny Iwebema had an NFL mandated physical in March. What was found as part of that exam, in the x-ray, was what turned out to be a benign tumor the size of a baseball in his chest. Doctors were able to scope it out and he should be ready for the start of training camp at the end of July.
Are you ready for some Chucky?
Apparently ESPN is and now you should be too. Former Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccanneers coach Jon Gruden has been tapped to replace Tony Kornheiser in the Monday Night Football booth for the upcoming season.
I’ve been thinking about this move all morning since I heard the news. My first thought was indifference. I thought that this really wasn’t an earth shattering announcement, at least from Kornheiser’s side of things. He’s hinted over the past couple of years he wasn’t qualified enough to be in the booth. Mind you the “official” reason for the move [...]

Larry Fitzgerald Races Blogger
The Arizona Cardinals have opened contract talks with Karlos Dansby and Adrian Wilson. Yeah, that should make Anquan Boldin and Darnell Dockett happy. Fact is the Cards have several players to talk to and they do not seem in any hurry to discuss Boldin and Dockett. Their agent, Drew Rosenhaus, is probably drafting another formal request for their release as we speak.
Never a dull moment…
Mini-camp started yesterday with new Cardinals running back Chris “Beanie” Wells. He was probably able to introduce himself to receiver Anquan Boldin and defensive end Darnell Dockett, however only before practice. You see, “Q” and Dockett both did show up at the Cardinals facility on Friday. Both claimed to be injured though and could not practice. So, coach Ken Whisenhunt said ok go get yourselves MRI’s. Take that!
I’m sure Q and Dockett thought they would just come out and sit on the sidelines and watch. Most of us know the real reason why they did not participate, so I think [...]
