Cardinals Strike First

Wow!  You couldn’t have asked for a better start.  Tim Hightower ran 70 yards to pay dirt to give the Cards an early 7-0 lead on the first play from scrimmage.

Clearly, the Cards have brought their momentum to New Orleans.

Go Cards!

I like most would like to see Warner return but part of me thinks that now would be a good time to turn the reigns over to Leinart. This could be an opportune year to bolster key positions with key experienced free agents and sign extentions with Dockett, Breaston, Rolle and Dansby. Take the money from Warner 10 mil, Trade Boldin for a second rounder and pick. Not to mention the draft! We also have some good returners who did not play towards the end – Davis, Ware, Gandy. We have witnessed what a team can do with a qb that doesn’t throw games away with solid support around him. Kerry Collins, Sanchez, Pennington etc.. I don’t want to see him go but now may be the best time to improve both off. and def.
