My Cardinals Wish List

Now that OTA’s have ended, it’s time to think about what happens next.  So what does happen next?  Nothing.  Nothing at all, at least until the end of July when training camp in Flagstaff starts.

The Arizona Cardinals just ended OTA’s today, with today’s session being canceled by coach Ken Whisenhunt.

So, I’ve put together a small wish list of things I would like to see and not see from the Cards until then.

First, I do not want to see any pictures of  Matt Leinart at a summer beach party drinking out of a 132 oz glass of margarita.  The last thing he needs to be doing is any partying.  Although, I think with USC’s football sanctions coming down today, he is probably going to find a way to get all those wins reinstated, or go console his soon to be Heisman-less buddy Reggie Bush.

I do want to see Deuce Lutui finally get this contract stuff behind him and come out and earn the money he’s going to make.

I do not want to see another shower pic of Darnell Dockett.

I do want someone to have the guts to make a preseason prediction of someone other than the San Francisco 49ers winning the division.

I do not want to see another former Oakland Raiders player join the Cards.  We got their one good player in Justin Miller.

I do want to see the Cardinals sign all their draft picks before the first training camp practice. I know there’s about as much chance of that happening as Lindsay Lohan abiding by her probation rules or Arizona getting additional troops for the border, but hey, one can dream, right?
