Interesting Take on Donovan McNabb

FOX NFL Sunday’s Howie Long just had a very interesting take on the Donovan McNabb situation with the Washington Redskins.  Well, everyone on set had some sort of opinion, however it was what Long said was the most interesting.

Saying the Redskins didn’t handle the situation well, he said that if head coach Mike Shanhan really felt the way he did and his words about McNabb were true, then release him.  Have respect for the player.  They should release him.  Once he is released, he will clear waivers because of his salary.  Then, the next day, he will be an Arizona Cardinal.

Wow!  Finally, someone in the national media piped up and said what many of us have been thinking all along.  Clearly, we aren’t the only ones who think McNabb would be an answer to the Cards quarterback issues.
