Cardinals Tweeting Game Plan Against Broncos Wouldn’t Matter

AUTHOR: | IN: 2011 Season, Cardinals, Fanzone | COMMENTS: None Yet

Much has been made today about the tweet Houston Texans running back Arian Foster let out today showing a link to a picture of his MRI.  I don’t know which side of the fence I am on with that one.  I get both sides.  However, I am here to say that in regards to the Arizona Cardinals-Denver Broncos game tomorrow night, the Cards for all I care could tweet the entire game plan and it wouldn’t matter.  This is the most meaningless game of the year, unless you are one of the 27 people who are looking at getting cut [...]

Madden 12 Hits the Market

AUTHOR: | IN: Fanzone, NFL, Off-Topic, Popular | COMMENTS: None Yet

Madden 12 came out today.  I haven’t gotten mine yet, have you?  Every year a new version comes out I ask, is it really worth it to go spend another $60?  I mean I know the rosters update.  I know there are some technical additions, most of which are pretty cool I will say, but from year to year, how much does Madden really change? I would love your reactions to the game if you have purchased Madden 12 today, which was the first day the game was available on the shelves.  Is it better than Madden 11?  Let me [...]

Cardinals Fan Predicts 9-7 Finish and Division Win

AUTHOR: | IN: Cardinals | COMMENTS: None Yet

This is the time that the pundits and so-called football experts make predictions about the season. My son, Yosef Feldstein (who is an even bigger Cardinals fan than I am), was a recent guest on a podcast that is doing a preseason segment called 32 Fans in 32 Days. The two co-hosts have been interviewing one fan representative from each of the NFL teams to get their thoughts on their respective teams’ upcoming football season. On the podcast, Yosef predicted a 9-7 finish for the Arizona Cardinals – and a divisional win. That’s not impossible, but it did surprise the interviewers, [...]

Cardinals Make Moves; Remaining Cards Must Make Like Clifford Franklin

AUTHOR: | IN: 2011 Season, Breaking News, Cardinals, Fanzone, Popular, Training Camp | COMMENTS: None Yet

I will survive.  That was the motto today around the Arizona Cardinals complex.  Today, not only do they lose Greg Toler in addition to Ryan Williams, they also announced some cuts.  Toler and Williams head to the Injured Reserve.  Their seasons are officially over. They also cut WR Max Komar, who was a fan favorite.  I admit I am in that mix.  I wish him luck and hope he gets another shot somewhere.  The Cards also cut Charles Ali, Daiveun Curry-Chapman, Curtis Gatewood, Duke Lemmens, Eric Mensik, and Jason Speredon.  No one of much consequence, although, don’t tell that to [...]

Cardinals Greg Toler Tears ACL, Out for Season

AUTHOR: | IN: 2011 Season, Breaking News, Cardinals, Fanzone | COMMENTS: None Yet

Well, that’s just about par for the course.  The Arizona Cardinals have lost another player for the season.  This time it is cornerback Greg Toler.  Toler tore his ACL and is now on the sidelines for the season.  He is the second major player to be lost for the season in just over a week.  Last week the Cards lost running back Ryan Williams for the season.

Cardinals Preseason Week Three Recap – The Good, Bad, and Ugly

AUTHOR: | IN: 2011 Season, Cardinals, Fanzone, Popular | COMMENTS: None Yet

The Arizona Cardinals lost to the San Diego Chargers on Saturday night in game three of the preseason 34-31.  There were some takeaways that both left me excited and nervous about the regular season which starts in less than two weeks from now.

Cards Kolb Makes Big Connection With Fitzgerald

AUTHOR: | IN: Cardinals | COMMENTS: None Yet

Watching the highlight of Kevin Kolb pump fake and then throw a picture perfect 80-yard touchdown pass to Larry Fitzgerald from last night made me think of what would have happened last year had Derek Anderson been the quarterback.

Cards Kolb, Fitz Look Great, Defense Not So Much in 34-31 Loss to Chargers

AUTHOR: | IN: 2011 Season, Breaking News, Cardinals, Fanzone, Gameday, Popular | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

For 59 minutes and 57 seconds, the Cards pretty much had the game in their hands.  With three seconds to go, Arizona Cardinals cornerback, probably soon-not-to-be, Marshay Green, allowed the San Diego Chargers Billy Volek to pick him apart for a touchdown and the 34-31 win.  The Cards offense was a different story Saturday night.  Kevin Kolb played his best game as an Arizona Cardinal yet, a game that included an 80-yard touchdown pass to Larry Fitzgerald.

Arizona Cardinals Tight End Position: From No Depth to Incredible Depth

AUTHOR: | IN: Cardinals | COMMENTS: None Yet

Last year one of the biggest weaknesses on the Arizona Cardinals team was the lack of any decent tight end. All told, the tight ends for the Cardinals caught a grand total of 25 passes last year, which is truly embarrassing. They didn’t do a very good job of blocking, either.

Five Questions for San Diego Chargers BoltBeat.Com

AUTHOR: | IN: 2011 Season, Cardinals, NFL, Popular | COMMENTS: None Yet

Five questions from Raising Zona for the lead writer Ernie Padaon of the San Diego Chargers blog Boltbeat.com in preview of tomorrow night’s game at University of Phoenix Stadium.  It is game three of the preseason. Question #1: Raising Zona: What about the rumors the San Diego Chargers moving to Los Angeles? I think it would be a bad move. Has it gotten that bad in San Diego that now they want to move to LA? Bolt Beat: The owners have been denying the rumor from day 1, but it has been something that we have been dealing with for [...]
