Update: Adrian Wilson May Avoid Surgery

As being reported by Sports620KTAR this afternoon, Arizona Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson, who suffered an injury early in practice on Saturday, may be able to avoid surgery and still get to play a good portion of the season.  The team will find more out on Monday, however this sounds like a best case scenario coming true.  The Cards can not afford to lose Wilson for a great length of time.

It is thought that by not having surgery, Wilson can rehab his injury and be back on the field before too long.  What kind of timeframes we are looking at is still yet to be known.  That could be determined on Monday as well.

A-Dub is a very popular player and although had a down season in 2010, would be missed no matter the length of time he misses.  Let’s all hope this news is made official on Monday.  I worry about the depth of this team in the defensive secondary.
