Adrian Wilson and the Decision to Play

On the other hand, I think back to last year, when Wilson played through an injury that he didn’t even share with his coaches and trainers. There were games where he played positively awful, where he got burned badly by opposing wide receivers on long routes. Even when he did get a sack or make a tackle, it wasn’t with the same intensity Cardinals fans were used to.

One could even argue that he cost the team a few games by playing hurt last year.

I sincerely hope that Wilson knows what his body is capable of, and that when he decides to return, it is with the blessing of the Cardinals coaches and trainers and with the knowledge that his presence will help the team, not hurt it.
