Arizona Cardinals 2012 Profile from A to Z: Crezdon Butler

The Arizona Cardinals had a lot of injuries in 2011 in the defensive backfield.  Cornerback Crezdon Butler was one of them.  After being picked up on waivers just before the season started last year, Butler was placed on the injured reserve just two weeks into his stint with the Cards.  Now, in 2012, he looks to rebound and find a spot on the roster.

Butler, who was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers out of Clemson in 2010, has only played in five NFL games to this point.  So, clearly, Butler lacks experience.  It is almost as if he is still a rookie.  Depth was a concern in 2011 thanks to all those injuries, so Butler may be able to find himself a roster spot come September.

It may seem Butler’s best days may be back in his college early years at Clemson.  He wasn’t highly regarded when he was drafted in the fifth-round.  His athletic ability though has him where he is at now.  Still a lot of unknowns with him, so stay tuned.
