Happy Reporting Day to the Arizona Cardinals

The day has arrived.  Today is like Christmas day for Arizona Cardinals fans.  You could say more like Christmas Eve, since today is just reporting day.  First practice is tomorrow afternoon in Flagstaff.  Hard to believe, but the Cards last took the field 205 days ago against the Seattle Seahawks on January 2nd.  Since that 23-20 victory, it has been a long off-season.  Wait no more my friends.  NFL Santa is here.

NFL Santa has given us the following this year:

An extra preseason game, against the New Orleans Saints in the Hall of Fame Game

A few extra days of practice thanks to the early preseason game

An Adrian Wilson extension

Wide receiver Michael Floyd as the guy who should take some pressure of Larry Fitzgerald

An offensive lineman fourth-round steal in  Bobby Massie

Another explosive year for Patrick Peterson on special teams and an improved year on defense

A great home schedule that includes the San Francisco 49′ers on Monday Night Football, the Detroit Lions, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Chicago Bears.
