Arizona Cardinals 2012 Profile from A to Z: Antonio Coleman

The Arizona Cardinals brought on linebacker Antonio Coleman in the off-season to help add depth to the linebacker core.  His chances to make the roster seem slim.  He was last with the Buffalo Bills in 2011.  He was drafted by the Bills in 2010, released, added by the New York Giants, before being picked up off their practice squad last year.  He was released in December.

Coleman certainly knows how to play the position though.  He was all SEC First Team in both 2008 and 2009 for Auburn.  The problem with being on the Cardinals roster is he has a lot more talent ahead of him on the depth chart.

Coleman has value though.  He led Auburn in tackles for loss in 2008.  He was considered the best pass rusher in 2009, finishing first in sacks.  He has yet to catch on to the same success in the NFL
