Who are these Arizona Cardinals?  Not only has the defense showed up – as expected, the offense has moved the ball and scored touchdowns.  Going into halftime, the Cards lead the Philadelphia Eagles 24-0.  Not even I saw this coming.  It’s all about the pressure the Cards defense has put on the Eagles offense.  Two turnovers for the Eagles and broken coverage on Larry Fitzgerald and it’s one-sided affair.

If you are looking for a negative with the Cards, well just start with the offensive line.  The pass protection has broken down several times, leaving quarterback Kevin Kolb with little time to throw the ball.  Of course Kolb is playing well despite that.  He has two touchdown passes, one to Fitz and one to Michael Floyd.  He has not turned the ball over – yet.

The Eagles offense has appeared to be out of synch most of the day.  Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has had time to throw on several plays, connecting on a couple big plays, but for the most part being held in check.   The best drive of the day was the final drive of the half, which led to the Eagles only almost score of the day.  Then of course – the Cards sack Vick on the last offensive play of the half and James Sanders returns it for a touchdown.  Everything, well most everything, going right for the Cards.
