With Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams both on the roster, nobody was quite sure how much playing time Williams would receive. However, with wells ouit with an injury for the next two months, Williams will be the go-to guy on running plays.
Williams showed some flashes on brilliance last week, gaining 62 yards in the fourth quarter. Now he has the opportunity to prove that he is a big-time NFL running back. Let’s hope that he learned a big lesson from his two fumbles in the first two games of the season — and can really have an impact on the Cardinals offense. He’ll get his first chance Sunday against the Dolphins.
