The shock?  The Arizona Cardinals defense playing ok, holding the Detroit Lions to no points.  The not-so-much-of-a-shock?  The Cards offense has been held to zero points as well.  As the Cards have done lately, they started off well on their first drive, then shot themselves in the foot and ran themselves right out of scoring position.

It was the usual suspects- bad play calling, penalties, and they even had a turnover on their second drive.  People were saying the Cards actually made good play calls, but how?  This is no time to get conservative.  They are 4-9.  Take your shots I say.

The Lions are also 4-9, but they don’t appear to be playing conservatively.  Thus, your Arizona Cardinals.  The fact Cards quarterback  Ryan Lindley got picked is not one, however after losing 58-0 you’d think they’d play a little more loose.  It doesn’t appear the offensive game plan has changed much.  Just continue to suck.  They are paying that role well.
