Rob Housler seems like the obvious candidate for break out Cardinals player in 2013. Bruce Arians likes to employ two tight end sets in his offense and the Cardinals certainly need a receiving threat to make plays over the middle. It’s a win-win situation.

Housler managed to gain 45 receptions for 417 yards in 2012 and most likely could have had much more if it wasn’t for the Cardinals quarterbacks missing on wide open throws. Housler could benefit from the upgrade at quarterback and the ability of the coaching staff putting him in position to succeed.

Housler’s athletic ability is impressive. At 6’5″, 250 pounds and a 4.55 40-yard dash, Housler appears to be a match up nightmare for NFL linebackers and safeties. It’s now or never for Housler. The Cardinals need him more than ever to break out and be the receiving threat at tight end that the they have been lacking for so long.

He will probably be available in the later rounds in your fantasy football draft, the talented tight end could finish in the top-10 in fantasy football productivity at his position.
