When it comes to this question, the only thing I can say is no. Ryan Swope never got a chance to play in the NFL or show that he could be a threat.

If the Cardinals never got a chance to see if he could become a playmaker, how can he be missed? I know we all had high hopes for him and wondering, what if, makes us miss him.

You never know, he could get better and come out of retirement halfway through the season and tare things up. But for the time being, it’s best to say, he never played for the Cardinals so there’s nothing to miss.

Swope was refined and ready to contribute right away with his smarts and craftiness. He’s able to create vertical separation with how big and athletic he is.

He’s agile and is able to shake defenders with his jukes and stabs. So I can understand why people would miss that he’s not there.

At the same time, he struggles to break down and redirect as well as not using his frame to his advantage. This could end up affecting his play and cost him a spot.

We don’t know how things would of worked out with him. He could of failed just as easily and ended up not having him on the team.

I say, it’s best not to think about it, just hope, pray, and wish he can overcome his concussion problems. But until then, let’s get on board with the other receivers and make them feel at home.

So, until Swope can get healthy, make the team, and contribute to winning games, there’s nothing to miss.
