For the past week we’ve talked about the status of Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.  He was questionable for the game against the Detroit Lions.  He ended up playing one half before exiting the game with a hamstring injury.  This week, Fitz was limited in practice, however he did go full on Thursday.

On Friday Fitz was again listed as questionable for the New Orleans Saints game on Sunday.  By all accounts he is going to be giving it a go though.  Anything can change between now and then but as he put it “I expect to play every Sunday”.

Fitz is a true professional.  Only he knows how he truly feels but if he’s truly hurting, he sure isn’t telling anyone.  He’s not 100 percent but he’ll be good to go on Sunday.  As for other major concerns, running back Rashard Mendenhall was listed as questionable on Sunday as well.  However word was as recently as Friday was that he’d be good to go.

The great part about this team though is they can perform well without either.  However it is optimal that both of them play to give the Cards the best chance to pull off the upset in New Orleans.
