Now you can add Zack Nash back in the fold for the Arizona Cardinals, sort of.  The linebacker, who was cut in the preseason by the Cards, was signed on Thursday onto the practice squad.  It was yet another move in the linebacking core for the Cards, who lost three linebackers on Sunday for the season.  Sam Acho, Lorenzo Alexander, and rookie Alex Okafor all were lost for the season thanks to injuries sustained in the loss last Sunday to the New Orleans Saints.

The Cards earlier this week added linebackers Kenny Demens and Dontay Moch to the 53-mad roster.  I’m not expecting anything Earth-shattering from the newly signed linebackers on Sunday or really even down the road tro be honest.  I truly believe that position will continue to see a lot of rotation until the end of the season.  Now, the Cards are close to getting inside linebacker Daryl Washington back.  He is scheduled to return on October 5th against the Carolina Panthers.

This week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers though, I don’t know quite what to expect.  Hopefully what I see is a pleasant surprise and Demens and Moch play well when called upon.  I expected Demens to possibly make the team back in the preseason, so hopefully he makes the most of his second chance.
