Carson Palmer can look so good one second but so awful the next.  That in essence is the career of Carson Palmer.  The Arizona Cardinals quarterback was able to move the ball twice down the field in the third quarter, however both times he was intercepted.  It’s allowed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to maintain a 10-0 lead going into the fourth quarter.

Palmer finally found his receivers Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd in that third quarter.  He’s spent most of the day previously throwing to Rashard Mendenhall and Andre Ellington.  They are both decent receiving backs but neither is a receiver.  He needs to start finding his receivers with more consistency.  Of course it helps your team if you aren’t throwing picks.

The Cards have one quarter left to get on the board.  This loss will quite honestly be very embarrassing given the current state of the Bucs organization.  This was a team starting a rookie quarterback but the Cards have played like they are somewhere else all afternoon.  The Cards may not have a better opportunity to win all season with maybe the exception of the Jacksonville Jaguars but even right now I’m not sure this team could beat the Jags.

Palmer is currently 14-26 for 162 yards and two interceptions.  His QBR is 40.9.  Meanwhile Mike Glennon is 18-32 for 157 yards and a touchdown, no interceptions.  His QBR is 79.8.  Embarrassing.  There is no other word to describe it right now.
