If you thought the Arizona Cardinals had a tough time scoring against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, then your mood probably won’t get much better this Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium when the Cards host the Carolina Panthers.

The Panthers have given up just 36 points in three games and really just two games as they skunked the New York Giants 38-0 in their last game in week three.  They are coming off a bye and that’s even more of an advantage for the Panthers.  They’ve also give up just 12 points to the Seattle Seahawks and the Hawks had to come from behind to win that one.  I’m telling you, scoring will be tough.

The one advantage the Cards do have is being at home.  That doesn’t mean scoring still won’t be at a premium, however, it could come a little easier to them than it did New York or Seattle when both made trips to Carolina.  In Caorlina’s one road game this season, they lost, giving up 24 to the improved Buffalo Bills.  They lost that one late.  As they did with Seattle.  They could easily be 3-0 just as the Cards could easily be 3-1.

So as the Cards get ready to practice tomorrow, I guarantee they will not be taking the Panthers lightly, especially given the fact that they barely escaped with a win in Tampa.
