The Arizona Cardinals story for the first quarter of the season has partly been about their injuries.  This weeks list isn’t that extensive but it still has some major parts that have been limited or not practicing this week as they prepare to face the Carolina Panthers.

Guard Daryn Colledge did not practice on Wednesday, however he did practice in a limited fashion on Thursday.  He is nursing a shin he injured against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Safety Rashad Johnson, who as we all now know, lost his middle finger tip, still has not practiced this week.  I would probably look to him being ruled out sometime between now and gametime.

Also on the list for the Cards is defensive tackle Darnell Dockett, who was limited Wednesday and Thursday due to a groin issue, and linebacker Kevin Minter, who missed the Tampa game, has been limited this week due to his hamstring injury.  Linebacker Jasper Brinkley, who left the Tampa game with a groin injury, did not practice Wednesday however did in limited form on Thursday.  Defensive end Ronald Talley has been limited this week as well.

It sure sounds like the Cards could be without a couple of guys but my best bet on missing this week is Johnson.  Clearly with the schedule built as it is, it will be important not to rush these injuries while at the same time hopefully they get the treatment needed to get back as soon as possible.  The immediate future schedule after this week is rough for the next four games.
