Arizona Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell will play tonight despite begin carted off the field in San Francisco just four days ago in a 32-20 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

This is great news Birdgang!  The Cards are going to need every bit of help they can get against the Seattle Seahawks.  Just how effective Campbell will be remains to be seen but just the fact he went from stretcher to not practicing to questionable to playing in just four days is nothing short of amazing.

Campbell is having a nice season so far.  He had a sack of Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton in the end zone for a safety just two weeks ago in their last home game.  The defensive line is going to need to put a lot of pressure on Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson in order to have any chance at winning this evening at University of Phoenix Stadium.

So now, it’s game time.  Strap in and enjoy the ride.  This game is huge in terms of NFC West divisional play.  The Cards have a chance to go 4-3 and do no worse than split with Seahawks with a victory this evening.  We’ll be keeping an eye on Campbell and hopefully there will be no lingering effects from last Sunday.
