This can very well be the start of the new trend in Arizona, after many years of free agent visits and bigger names leaving without contracts it seemed that most free agents only used this as a leverage stopping place to get the money they were going after.

But that trend may be taking a new turn as the Cardinals have begun to change the culture here in the Valley around the team starting with Management down to the type of player coming in, and it looks like more bigger names are looking to join to actually play for the only team to beat the now SuperBowl champs in their own building in 2 years.

The league may be taking the Cardinals serious as tight end John Carlson inked a two year deal yesterday and his comments will probably be the trend of this years free agent visits “The way the team is trending it was an easy sell” Carlson said and adding he has a lot to learn in this system and also his awareness of his past concussion issues .

But that is good news to hear, with the Cardinals no non sense contract signing methods and the team getting recognition as the place to be we may get some bigger names to knock on the door in the near and distant future.

After Darnell Docketts tweets yesterday that have been deleted he was quoted as telling all free agents “to follow my boy and new teammate Branden Albert” now Dockett is not the teams representative for releasing free agent information but as a player they sometimes know important details before the management does. Hopefully this story is true and if so it will get the trend of bigger names taking the stop to Arizona very serious.
