We already know the who and where.  Now the Arizona Cardinals and fans just need to wait about two more weeks to find out the when.  The when being when the Cards will play their opponents in 2014.  According to NFL sources the NFL is planning on the usual mid-April schedule release.  My best guess is April 15th.

We know the Cards have their usual NFC West home and away schedule of the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, and St. Louis Rams.  In addition, the Cards home schedule includes the Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, and Detroit Lions.  The away schedule includes games at the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, Denver Broncos, and Atlanta Falcons.

Of course a lot of rumors are flying around who the Super Bowl Champion Seahawks will play in the opener on September 4th in Seattle.  Word came out the other day it most likely won’t be their Super Bowl opponent Broncos.  I also would not expect them to throw the Niners on the road like that in week one.  Many think it should be the Cards, however given their overall appeal to fans outside of Arizona, it seems unlikely.

You just hope for a balanced schedule and not load a ton of road games together early or late.  Of course there will always be something to complain about but I expect the Cards to at least get a little love.  I would expect 2-3 primetime games next season.  We shall see.  Time is drawing near.
