I strongly believe the Arizona Cardinals need to take a cornerback who can start alongside Patrick Peterson and maybe even take his spot if he can`t or won`t be resigned by the Cardinals this upcoming off-season. After looking at the top ten CBs in this years draft, I think Keith McGill is someone worth taking a look at. Here is whats been said about McGill.

McGill is coming out of Utah, he`s 6`3 214 and was a highly regarded free safety coming out of junior college were he earned All-American honors. He moved to CB during spring practice and earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 from his coaches. He ran a 4.49 40 time and is an experienced press corner with fluid straight-line speed.

A well-proportion athlete with good balance, agility, and acceleration. He is alert on the field and baits quarterbacks into throwing underneath routes. Has the downhill burst to close onto the ball and the height, leaping ability, and long arms to go up and fight for it as well.

Lines up acrossed receivers with his hips open to efficiently run down field while maintaining contact. He is an effective open field tackler which is great for a corner. Has only fair hands and will occasionally drop an easy interception.

While McGill is physically imposing, he has only average toughness and gets held up by smaller receivers when it comes to hand battles. Durability is a concern with him missing half the games played while at Utah. Needs to get healthier while adjusting to the pro level.

McGill has all the physical tool to become a solid starter one day. He also has the length and instincts to switch to safety if need be. The only thing that matters is, does Steve Keim feel the same and if so, will he get to him in time?
