The Arizona Cardinals wasted no time after the draft, like most other teams, in going and snagging undrafted free agents to attempt to add their roster.  The Cards were able to bring in players with both familiarity and unfamiliarity.

The name that sticks out with me and should for many other Arizonans is Northern Arizona University and Hamilton High School running back Zach Bauman.  Bauman ran for 5132 yards and 46 touchdowns on a 5.1 yard-per-carry average during his four years at NAU.  The guy has explosive speed and can cut quickly.  His big issue is his size.  At 5’7, many don’t consider him a viable NFL running back.  The Cards are going to take a look though.

Others to sign free agent contracts with the Cardinals include Illinois LB Jonathan Brown; Penn State LB Glenn Carson; Washington WR Kevin Smith; Newberry WR Corey Washington; Albany State OT Kadeem WilliamsEast Carolina DE Lee PeguesUCLA CB Brandon Sermons; UNLV RB Tim Cornett; Alabama G Anthony Steen; SE Louisiana CB Todd Washington.

All of these guys may not be brought in to be signed.  Some of these guys may just be coming in for tryouts.  However it is known which it is for any of these players.  Clearly they are bringing in both offensive and defensive help.  Two running backs and two wider receivers along with two cornerbacks, two offensive linemen, two linebackers and a defensive end.
