Easy come easy go.  The Arizona Cardinals waived four players and signed four players on Tuesday.  The four players the Cards kept were guys brought in on tryouts.  Waived were cornerback LeQuan Lewis, running back Tim Cornett, wide receiver Corey Washington, and tackle Kadeem Williams.

Amongst the tryout players the Cards kept on Tuesday was former Arizona State wide receiver Kevin Ozier.  I’m not an ASU guy but always like the Cards giving a local guy a chance.  Also signed were former Oklahoma tackle Cory Brandon, formerSouth Carolina cornerback Jimmy Legree, and running back Jalen Parmele.

Parmlee is a veteran of five years, last with the Tennessee Titans last year in training camp.  Brandon has spent time with the Chicago Bears.  It is nice to get some guys with experience and guys showing skills early on.  I would expect a revolving door from now until August, so don’t get to used to anyone just yet.

It was a little disappointing to see Washington, Cornett, and Williams all exit early after signing undrafted rookie contracts immediately after the NFL Draft earlier in the month.  Apparently though it was a matter of guys not getting a grasp of the playbook or system.
