As the Arizona Cardinals finish off the off-season in preparation for the start of training camp on July 25th in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands.  Next up on the roster is outside linebacker Lorenzo Alexander.

2013 season: Alexander was yet another linebacker who saw his season cut short by injury.  He played and started in three games in 2013.  Although when he got injured he had yet to make a real impact in the season, it was his 2012 season with the Washington Redskins that got him his free-agent contract with the Cards.  They had high expectations for him.  Unfortunately it ended too soon.

2014 season: Kind of an unknown at this point.  We know he is needed in a a position that high turnover last season.  I think the expectation is that he come back healthy and ready to make a major contribution.  Now eight years into his NFL experience, other young guys can lean on him for mentoring.  guys like Sam Acho.  However Alexander will need to be more than just a mentor.  He will need to be a performer as well.
