Arizona Cardinals Roster Profile: Sam Acho

As the Arizona Cardinals finish off the off-season in preparation for the start of training camp on July 25th in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands.  Next up on the list is linebacker Sam Acho.

2013 season: Sam Acho had a rough 2013.  It was cut short by injury after just three games played.  He still managed a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in his very abbreviated season.  He started all 16 games the year before and had started two of the three he played last season.

2014 season: The future has to be bright for Acho.  He had two interceptions and four sacks back in 2012.  It was a decline from his rookie 2011 season but now at a position with a lot of questions, Acho needs to step up.  Of course it will be necessary to stay healthy as well.  I see no reason why Acho can’t or won’t be a high impact player in 2014.
