As the Arizona Cardinals finish off the off-season in preparation for the start of training camp on July 25th in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands.  Next up is tight end John Carlson.

2013 season: Carlson spent last season with the Minnesota Vikings.  He had 32 receptions for a total of 344 yards.  He scored just one touchdown.  He’s had trouble staying healthy the past few seasons but from all accounts that is a thing of the past.  He is ready to go.

2014 season: Expect big things.  Cards quarterback Carson Palmer is already on record saying how much he loves having Carlson here.  His big year was in 2009 with the Seattle Seahawks but I can see Carlson being utilized to the point of reaching his 2009 numbers of 51 receptions for 574 yards and seven touchdowns.  I can tell you this.  I know, barring injury, he will have a much bigger year than Rob Housler did last season or any other season prior.  Good pick up by the Cards here.
