As the Arizona Cardinals finish off the off-season in preparation for the start of training camp on July 25th in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands.   Next up is Pro Bowl defensive end Calais Campbell.

2013 season: Campbell had his most productive season yet in terms of sacks.  He finished last season with nine sacks.  His previous high was eight in 2011.  He had 6.5 in 2012 but that was also in three fewer games.  He also had a safety, six passes defensed, one force fumble and two fumble recoveries.  His tackle total was down but he also had more help last season.

2014 season: As long as he’s healthy then there is no reason why he won’t be back in Pro Bowl form this season.  The style of play suits Campbell.  He also doesn’t have to be the man, even though he is.  The Cards have built a better defense around him therefore isn’t relied upon to make every play but he also has gotten stronger and better.  His sack total last season showed he continues to head in the right direction.  The long arms of his are not only an asset to the defense but to the special teams as well.
