As the Arizona Cardinals finish off the off-season in preparation for the start of training camp on July 25th in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands. Next up is defensive tackle Darnell Dockett.
2013 season: Dockett returned to form in 2013. He made a big improvement in sacks, registering 4.5 sacks after just 1.5 in 2012. He also had 46 tackles, which was 12 more than the previous season. It was nice to see Dockett back to looking like he was having fun.
2014 season: Dockett heads into his 11th season, so he is starting to get up there but no doubt he is still a vital part of the defensive line. I would not be at all surprised to see him perform even better than he did in his improved 2013 season. I think the thing I and many others would like to see more of is getting his hands up and defensing more passes. He did not defense a single pass in 2013 after he had four of them in 2012. He may only have a couple of really good years left and even some may argue that.
