The 2014 season predictions are almost over and so far the Arizona Cardinals look good sitting at 9-4, going into their week 15 match-up in St. Louis to face a Rams team that may be hitting its improvement peak for the season. After a Cardinals win in the first match-up at home, can they be tough enough to win on the road and get that much needed 10th win.

This game is pivotal to the season because at this point the playoff picture is forming and the Rams may not be in contention but they can sure play spoiler at this point. The Cardinals will have the two power houses coming up and if they lose this game it will be more difficult to beat Seattle and San Francisco back to back.

Its either now or never to make the run towards the playoffs, and having not predicted every other NFC teams schedule its hard to see who is in their way to get the wildcard, most likely two teams of the six will already be from the NFC West and that would make it highly unlikely that it would be three. So the Cardinals will have to win their way in.

Experience from last years disappointment will play a lot in this game along with the offense putting up points and baring any injuries I don’t see the Rams able to score enough to win with Sam Bradford at the helm. The Cardinals secondary will again be the catalyst in this match-up and also pressure on Bradford from John Abraham, Calais Campbell, Darnell Dockett and a surprise young player like Okafor, Acho, Stinson may emerge late in the season.

The Cardinals may have a little problem on the right side of the offensive line dealing with the Rams pass rush but not to the point where they cant move the ball, look for Carson Palmer to pass for 300 or more and the Cardinals score their way to a road victory and get to 10 wins on the year at 10-4.

Will that be enough, it was  not last year and the team will be in position to control their own destiny , win your way in, because more than likely one of your next opponents may be one loss away from relenting the playoff birth, lets see what happens.
