As the Arizona Cardinals are in preparation for the season with training camp now in full swing in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are going to take a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands.  Next up is cornerback Jerraud Powers.

2013 season:  Following head coach Bruce Arians over from the Indianapolis Colts, Powers played in and started all 16 games for the Cards last season.  He had 65 tackles and one interception.  He also defensed 17 passes last season.  He may not have the big interception numbers but he is clearly around the ball a lot.

2014 season: Powers will still be a huge part of the Cards defense this season.  With the addition of Antonio Cromartie, Powers likely doesn’t start but he is expected to be in for nickel packages.  The Cards are fortunate to have four corners that could all start, so in that sense Powers even as a backup will see plenty of time on the field.
