Arizona Cardinals Roster Profile: Curtis Taylor

As the Arizona Cardinals are in preparation for the season with training camp now in full swing in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are taking a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands.  Next up is free safety Curtis Taylor.

2013 season:  Taylor got into one game last season with the Cardinals after signing a contract in April of 2013.  His last regular season action previously was with the San Francisco 49ers in 2009 and 2010.  He has seven career tackles.

2014 season: He’s in a log jam at the safety position with Tyrann Mathieu and Tony Jefferson leading the way at safety.  Taylor is currently third at free safety.  His making the initial 53-man roster could be affected by the status of Mathieu once the season is ready to start.  He could be one of those guys the Cards hang onto for early season depth but I don’t think he has the staying power for this roster full-time.
