As the Arizona Cardinals are in preparation for the season with training camp now in full swing in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, we are taking a look at the team roster from A to Z as it currently stands.  Next up is defensive end Ed Stinson.

2013 season: Stinson started every game last season for the University of Alabama.  He ended up with 42 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

2014 season: Stinson was a fifth-round draft pick of the Cards.  He currently stands third on the depth chart at defensive end behind Calais Campbell and Kareem Martin.  He is considered a very good player at the point of attack and is a physical player.  According to an nfl.com analysis, he is also flat-footed at times. He will be in a fight with Martin this preseason to back up Campbell.  Right now it’s a toss-up as far as I’m concerned.  Even if he does lose out to Martin, depending on where the other dominoes fall on the roster cuts, Stinson may still be too valuable to let go of when the final 53-man roster is announced.
