Nothing official came from the Arizona Cardinals on Monday, however it is being reported that DT Christian Tupou is being added to the Cards practice squad.  He was recently cut the the Cards in the final cut down to the 53-man limit.

Tupou, who was with the Chicago Bears in 2013, joined the Cards back in May after spending a short time with the Indianapolis Colts and the San Francisco 49ers.  The Cards continue to add depth to the position due to the season-ending injury to Darnell Dockett.  The addition makes sense but also tells me they still aren’t sold completely on what they have.

Hopefully official news will come down on the move on Tuesday.  The Cards were off on Monday, normally off on Tuesday’s,  due to the season opener being on Monday night next week against the San Diego Chargers. We will also continue to bring you any other updates to the practice squad or Cardinals news items as it becomes available.
